1

Maple Syrup

It should be noted that 80% of the worlds maple syrup is produced in Canada, with 70% coming from Quebec alone! With this in mind, maple syrup is a must buy while in Montreal. Furthermore, choosing a maple syrup can be a bit difficult. Note that lighter syrup tastes delicately sweet, followed by amber syrup which is more robust in flavour. Finally, dark maple syrup is the strongest, it is bold but also perfectly sweetened. Consequently, whichever you choose, know that your waffles, pancakes, and maple covered bacon will be all the more delicious!
