Day 2

Beavertails

Beavertails are sold all over Canada. In fact, they were invented in the country and are a one-of-a-kind treat to try when visiting! Moreover, beavertails come with a variety of toppings like cinnamon, chocolate, apples, and many more deliciously sweet flavours. With that in mind, you can find a Beavertail shop right on Clifton Hill.

Clifton Hill

clifton hill

Clifton Hill is a kitschy area and comical mix of an amusement park and a local fair. Discover fun houses, rides, and in-your-face restaurants and attractions in this area. Despite the direct kid-friendly appeal, you will no doubt have a good time in this shameless funfair. That being said, be sure to check out the Hershey’s Chocolate World, Wax Hands Emporium, and the spooky haunted houses. As well as the top attraction, the Niagara SkyWheel, which has incredible views of the Falls and the surrounding cityscape.

Niagara boat tour

niagara falls

After your Clifton Hill adventure, head to the Niagara City Cruises for a boat tour up to the Falls. Unquestionably, this experience is a wet one! That being said, be sure to wear the appropriate clothes, or at least, clothes and shoes you do not mind getting wet!

Travel Tip: Being Niagara’s top attraction, we recommend that you buy tickets online beforehand.

Journey behind the falls

The Journey Behind the Falls tour offers another close-up view of the Falls but from a different perspective. Undoubtedly, to hear the power and force of the falls this close is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience! As well as one of the best things to see in Canada.

Travel Alternative: Adventure seekers, ride the zip line above the falls for views and a thrilling experience!

Fun Fact: Niagara Falls is actually 3 separate waterfalls.

Dinner

Close to the previously mentioned hotels and casino is Zappi’s Pizza & Pasta, an unpretentious spot to enjoy with company. Moreover, this local restaurant has certainly made a name for itself in the area as a lively Italian joint with all the classics. Such as pizza, pasta, and more!
