 Wat Benchamabophit Dusitvanaram is a popular buddhist temple in Bangkok because of its beautiful architecture and ornate features. Construction of the Marble Temple began in 1899 under King Chulalongkorn and was designed by Prince Narisara Nuwattiwong. It is known as the Marble Temple because it was built using Italian marble in its core structure! 

 During your visit you will be impressed with the beauty and symmetry of the temple, as well as the marble courtyard and its’ structures. Including the two lions guarding the temple and the 52 Buddha statues all in different postures. Within the temple is a large golden Buddha and a decorated interior to admire. For those looking to see Bangkok’s incredible temples then the Marble Temple should be on your list!
