The Belvedere is an early 18th century Baroque palace in Vienna’s third district just outside the Innere Stadt. It’s a grand building surrounded by a tiered manicured garden and a small lake on the grounds. As well as the Botanical Gardens with many interesting plant species to discover. However, some might say that the real beauty lies within the palace interiors.
The grandeur of the Belvedere is on display in every room upon entering. If you want to indulge in lavish architecture, the Belvedere will not disappoint. The palace also houses a collection of Austria’s most valuable art. Including Gustav Klimt’s “The Kiss”. For art, history, and architecture lovers, The Belvedere is a must visit in Vienna.
